Professional ignoramus (P.I.), Ann Coulter, has hit one out of the park (get it?) with this beauty about people who like soccer being un-American (or something).
Although the column is (unsurprisingly) a feast of stupidity, I particularly enjoyed how her bizarre rant somehow managed to link soccer with the metric system (apparently P.I. Coulter is unaware that soccer pitches are set out on the basis of imperial measurements, but what Ann Coulter doesn't know is hardly shocking). Because the metric system is linked to the French, soccer is un-American, (or something like that).
Still not sure what it has to do with soccer, but apparently: "Liberals get angry and tell us that the metric system is more "rational" than the measurements everyone understands. This is ridiculous. An inch is the width of a man's thumb, a foot the length of his foot, a yard the length of his belt." Well, I'm not sure about what cookie-cutter audience P.I. Coulter is writing for, but perhaps someone could point out the link between 10 fingers and the decimal system to Ann.
